Prices & Payment Schedule
PRICING: By booking direct via www.boatshedsonthebay.co.nz, you are agreeing to the prices and payment schedule outlined on our booking form. All prices are originally set in New Zealand Dollars (NZD, inclusive of GST). If you have selected a different currency using the menu in our website's footer area, these rates may change without warning due to currency conversion. Once booked, the price you have reserved is the price you will be charged, regardless of any currency related fluctuations. The rates specified are subject to change at any time without notification.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE: There is no pre-payment or deposit required at booking. All payment requests for bookings made via our website are sent out 17 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Full payment for an agreed booking is due no later than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival.
PAYMENT METHODS: We currently accept credit and debit/Eftpos card payments online via Stripe, our payment gateway. We cannot take payments in person or over the phone at this time. Your personal and financial details are securely encrypted to ensure your money and information stays safer when you pay online. Your financial information is never shared and we never see or store your credit card details when you make a booking via our website. Our checkout process is secured by HTTPS / TSL (Transport Layer) encryption.
BANK TRANSFER PAYMENTS: We also allow direct deposit payments via our checkout. To ensure there is no delay in confirming your booking, please ensure the name on the booking form matches the name on your bank account (no nicknames, please). If two different names must be supplied, please make sure to provide an accurate reference to your desired booking.
Bookings are not guaranteed until payment has been successfully received. Please be aware that if the customer transfers funds to an incorrect bank account number, it is the customer's responsibility to correct this error.
Cancellation & Non-payment Policy
All cancellations must be completed no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. Additionally, if the customer has not provided 100% of due payment by 14 days prior to their scheduled check-in date, Boatsheds on the Bay reserves the right to cancel this booking due to non-payment.
If a booking is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, no refund of payment will be given due to late cancellation.
RESCHEDULE YOUR BOOKING: If you need to reschedule a booking, please do so as soon as possible via our contact form or emailing us directly at info@boatshedsonthebay.co.nz.
Damage deposits & Fines
There is no damage deposit required to book or check-in to your unit. However, please be aware that if property is excessively damaged or dirtied beyond a reasonable degree, you may incur a fine. If an accident occurs where an item is broken, please inform our on-site hosts as soon as possible to report this.
Communications
The primary method of communication with the Boatsheds on the Bay team is email. By purchasing from this website, you consent to receive the electronic communications (email) from us. Please note that we will not send you any promotional and marketing materials, or other information relating to the service, unless you have subscribed to our newsletter.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all contact information provided is correct and up-to-date. If at any time you need to update your best contact information - especially email address - please do this as soon as possible via our website's contact form or by emailing us at info@boatshedsonthebay.co.nz with your name and booking date.
